Don't wait to begin your writing journey.

During 2020, I had a moment of reckoning. Not sure where you were, but if you are anything like me you felt untethered. Disconnected. Uncertain.

My anxiety came back in full force and my recovery felt unsteady.

Instead of reaching for the unhealthy coping mechanisms I had in the past (like alcohol, drugs, relationships, and more), I reached out for support and started doing things that brought be joy, energy, and a renewed sense of purpose.

I also realized that the time to start my dream of being an author is now.

Writing became like my long lost best friend. Pen in hand, a new calling was forming (or an old one circling back again). I rediscovered the healing power of stories. I also became motivated to not only write stories, but share them.

Since then, I've spent hundreds of hours researching the writing and publishing process, learning how unique the writing journey can be for those of us who are also in recovery. I've connected with other experts in the field, discovered new insights about the changing landscape of publishing, and found incredible resources that I promise will save you time and money (they did me!).

My next published book is coming out soon and I've got a couple more in the works. I've learned about the ins and outs of the writing and publishing journey and also bring my professional expertise as a technical writer and consultant for federal agencies on recovery and mental health topics.

How can we share our stories in a way that can help share hope and help support another person's journey? How can we ask tough questions and challenge stigmatizing attitudes? How can we shed light on what happens in the beautiful spaces of recovery in all its varying forms?

My new 1:1 coaching and courses offerings are lovingly created to support your writing and recovery journey. Wherever you are on the journey, whether wondering if you should pick up the pen or laptop or if you are a published author who is looking for support and community, you are welcome here.

I can't wait to work with you.
